Born in 1987, Tichaona Kandavata's musical journey has been marked by significant milestones. Having previously performed as a curtain raiser for Kireni Zulu and led a choir at Faith In God Ministries, Tichaona is not only a performer but also a skilled song composer.

Bafana Ennie

Emerging in the music scene in 2016 within the Dancehall genre, Bafana Ennie has been crafting his artistry ever since. She showcases versatility by transitioning between culture and conscious songs. Bafana's collaboration with Lindsay resulted in the release of the captivating "Hombarume" video. Later, she found a musical home in Urban Afro.

Nigel Mutambwi

 Possessing a remarkable 35 years of experience, Nigel Mutambwi graces the stage as an accomplished keyboardist. His musical journey began in high school, where he honed his skills playing for the school band and participating in inter-school music festivals. Over the years, Nigel has made significant contributions to various bands, including the illustrious Urban Afro Band.

With an impressive 11-year tenure, Tatenda Kandavata takes on the role of a skilled Dramalist, enriching the band's sonic palette and adding a distinct flavor to the performances.

Richard Chigombe

Richard Chigombe, a master of drums and rhythm guitar, commenced his musical odyssey in 2012. He has graced the stages alongside Zaka Zaka, Alan Chimbetu, Simon Mutambi, Mark Ngwazi, and Lucky Kumene, showcasing his talent across diverse musical genres.

Mavis Chuma

Embarking on her musical journey in 2014, Mavis Chuma has steadily made her mark in the industry. Her repertoire includes recording two songs in Kadoma and collaborating with Kireni Zulu. Her path led her to Urban Afro Band, where she continues to contribute her musical prowess.

Jambani

A seasoned bass guitarist with over 40 years of experience, has left an indelible mark on the local music scene. He has collaborated with major artists such as Thomas Mapfumo and Oliver Mutukudzi. At one point, Jambani even formed his own band, showcasing his versatility and leadership in the industry.

Joy

The newest addition to the band, Joy, brings five years of experience as a backing vocalist. Her harmonious contributions enhance the band's overall sound, adding depth and richness to each performance.
